Fused Planters
The Fused Planter Series is a modular, full-bottom system that supports a wide range of design compositions from straight lines and angular layouts to sweeping curves, arcs, and varying elevations within large-scale landscapes. Its connected planter sections create seamless, continuous forms ideal for diverse plantings, including trees, shrubs, and bermed applications. Fabricated in powder-coated aluminum, steel, or Corten steel, the series combines structural integrity with limitless design potential.
All Fused Planters are priced according to the Designer’s layout and specifications, so all relevant design documents, including but not limited to site plans, grading plans, elevations, sections, and detail sheets, must be submitted to the Manufacturer for pricing.
Adaptability
Exceptionally flexible in design, the Fused Planter Series offers unmatched design adaptability, capable of transforming from clean, geometric layouts to complex, organic, and multidimensional configurations. It’s modular construction is fabricated to the designer’s specification, allowing seamless realization of both structured and free-form visions. A wide range of integration options, including seating and lighting to name a few, further enhances its versatility, making it ideal for dynamic and fully integrated landscape environments on both ground-level and on-structure applications.
Durability
The Fused Planter Series is engineered for long-term durability and structural performance in demanding outdoor environments. Fabricated from high-quality powder-coated aluminum, steel, or Corten steel, each system is built to resist corrosion, weathering, and deformation over time. Precision fabrication and reinforced construction ensure lasting stability, making it a dependable foundation for large-scale and complex landscape installations.
Sustainability
All components, aluminum, steel, and Corten steel, are 100% recyclable, supporting a circular manufacturing process. All metals are proudly sourced from domestic U.S. suppliers, reinforcing both sustainability and American craftsmanship.

SHOP DRAWINGS
1. Manufacturer will provide detailed shop drawings showing all internal connections, section breaks, and reinforcement for approval, prior to fabrication.
2. Placement on grade & on-structure
Direct on Slab
The Fused Planter Systems can sit directly on grade or structural slab with shimming by others. If slab slope is too extreme or a plumbing cavity is needed, Manufacturer recommends locating on a pedestal system for access.
On leveling pedestal
Most widely used for applications on-structure, the Fused Planter Systems can sit directly on leveling pedestals by others. Designer to consult specified pedestal Manufacturer for quantity and placement. Form and Fiber can provided estimated loading of units for coordination.
ON-STRUCTURE CONSIDERATIONS
- When Fused Planter Systems are located next to flatwork and/or decking applications, Manufacturer recommends dropping base of units (located on pedestal system), a minimum of 2”-4” below FFE.
- A minimum break joint of 1/4” should also be considered to allow for room between planters and adjacent flatwork install.
INCLUSIONS & EXCLUSIONS
- Form and Fiber PROVIDES connecting hardware for interior brackets connecting sections, including neoprene waterproofing washers.
- Form and Fiber PROVIDES pre-drilled holes in planter base for drainage and irrigation per contractor.
- Form and Fiber DOES NOT PROVIDE anchoring hardware for connection of base plate to sub base.
- Form and Fiber DOES NOT PROVIDE waterproofing caulking or sealant for section connections.
Corten Steel Finish
Form and Fiber manufacturers pre-weathered Corten steel products utilizing Certified ASTM A606 Type 4 Corten Steel and ASTM A588 Corten Steel. Product is sold as pre-weathered where surface has a rusted patina developed and overall exterior finish achieves an advanced level of oxidation. Once surfaces have reached full oxidation, rusting will stop and surface will self-seal. Any scratching or damage to surface will open surface finish and impact area will re-oxidize.
A light, temporary metal sealant is applied for pre-weathered finishes, allowing products to be handled while continuing oxidation. This temporary coating has zero VOC’s and is a matte finish. Application is applied to exterior only for handling of units during install. Units will continue to oxidize, patina will darken, and sealant will wear off.
Rust leaching at base will continue until surfaces are fully oxidized. For this reason, Designers and/or Purchasers should exercise caution in placement of Corten products within exterior environments.
