Form and Fiber, Inc. manufactures our boardform planters with three different types of joints.
One of our most popular joints casted are finger joints, where boards are spaced to allow seepage of the concrete pour into the joint, creating a dramatic joint that is rough and irregular in it's finish. The result is modern, industrial type of planter.
Our medium joint is the perfect combination, allowing some seepage, while maintaining a more consistent joint pattern that is not as rough as the finger joint.
Form and Fiber, Inc. also casts our boardform series planters with the option of using tight joints. These joints are achieved through the tight butted boards that allow for minimal seepage of the concrete pour into the joint, creating a more refined, consistent finish.
