Sustainability

Our Pledge

We are working toward a more resilient future for our land, products, and the communities we serve.

At Form and Fiber, sustainability is fundamental. It’s rooted in our land, reflected in our process, and present in every material we use. We source concrete within 250 miles and use aluminum, Corten, and steel with over 60% recycled content, all fully recyclable. Our low-waste metal processes minimize impact.

100%

PRODUCTSMADE IN USA

We manufacture 100% of our products in Texas using regional materials and skilled local labor.

100%

DROP METAL WASTERECYCLED LOCALLY

We optimize cutting to reduce waste and recycle all scrap locally. Surface treatments are VOC-free and biodegradable.

98%

CONCRETE SOURCEDWITHIN 100 MILES

All sand and aggregate are locally sourced within a 15-mile radius and Portland cement is produced from Texas plants within 100 miles or less.

60%+

PALLETS MADEFROM RECYCLED WOOD

More than 60% of our pallets are made from recycled wood and 100% are fully recyclable.

Rooted in Purpose

Our land grounds us. It’s managed with care, shaped by purpose, and built to endure.

Our facility spans 13 acres of preserved Texas pastureland, once home to productive cotton fields. We’ve honored that history by protecting the natural character of the site and introducing systems that strengthen its long-term health. Overland flow biofiltration, stormwater detention, and retention ponds manage runoff and help the land regenerate. These systems benefit not only our operations but the land itself.

Looking ahead, we plan to explore rainwater harvesting, solar power integration, and partnerships that nurture native plants and support local pollinators. Each step embodies our commitment to lasting strength through thoughtful, deliberate progress.

Driven by Process

Our processes are deliberate, efficient, and built on local expertise.

Every product we create is made entirely in Texas, crafted with regional materials and skilled local labor. This commitment to local manufacturing lets us work efficiently, reduce emissions, and invest directly in the communities that make our work possible. Keeping production close to home is central to who we are and how we build strength that lasts.

Materials are used with purpose and reused wherever possible. Scrap metal is recycled locally. Surface treatments are biodegradable and free from VOCs. Concrete boardform molds are reused many times before being repurposed as protective packaging. More than 60% of our pallets are made from recycled wood, and all are fully recyclable. From fabrication to shipping, we make the most of what we use.

Defined by Quality

We choose materials carefully and shape them with precision. Our products are built to last and made close to home.

Sourcing is intentional. Nearly all materials in our concrete products are sourced within 100 miles of our facility, with sand and aggregate coming from within 15 miles. Portland cement is produced at nearby Texas plants. We prioritize durable, lower-impact materials such as thermally modified and domestically harvested woods, recycled PVC alternatives, and U.S.-sourced metals including aluminum, carbon steel, and COR-TEN®. Where appropriate, we provide Declare® labels to promote transparency and help customers make informed choices.

We fully meet environmental standards including the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act. Our Environmental Management System (EMS) guides every step, supporting consistency across production, permitting, and long-term site development.

13 acres of native land

Our facility sits on 13 acres of preserved Texas pastureland, once used for growing cotton. Natural site systems like overland flow biofiltration, stormwater detention, and retention ponds help support the long-term health of the site.

Choosing better materials

We prioritize thermally modified and domestically harvested woods, recycled PVC alternatives, and U.S.-sourced metals including aluminum, carbon steel, and COR-TEN®. When appropriate, we use Declare® labels to ensure transparency of added ingredients and trace materials, helping customers make informed decisions.

Reusing Materials with Purpose

Concrete boardform molds are used multiple times to extend their life and reduce waste. When no longer in use, they’re repurposed as packaging – part of our ongoing effort to make the most of every material.

staying aligned

Our Environmental Management System (EMS) supports consistent, informed decisions across our facilities, production, permitting, and further site development.

Exceeding Standards

We comply fully with regulations such as the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act, which set the foundation for our environmental standards.

Driving Progress

We are developing next steps that include rainwater harvesting, solar integration, and partnerships to support pollinators and native plant communities.
